Have you ever wondered what is it that makes each one of us so special? We are all so different and unique, each and everyone single one of us. Not one human being is exactly the same as another, not even twins, because they even have distinctive features that set them apart. Yet, at the same time, we are so alike, no matter how we look on the outside. If we could go about wearing our skin inside-out, or no skin at all, just walking around like so, we will be all the same: just a bunch of ugly-looking beings made up of flesh, bones, blood, and a whole lot of well intersected organs working together for a purpose: to keep us alive!
And then, there’s our heart and soul, that we all have, since after all, we are not just flesh and bones! What we have in our hearts also defines us. We could have a good heart, or a bad one. But, the thing is none of us is born being bad or wicked, biased or racist, abusive or oppressive, right? We are born like empty yet pure vases, and what we (or others) put inside those vases will later in life define us, as who we are and go about in this world.
Yet, isn’t it just the right time to fill our vases with goodness? Aren’t we tired of all the negative horrible things we see in the news everyday? It’s true, it’s not our fault all the bad things happening in our neighborhoods, communities and throughout the nation and the whole world. What is true is that we can actually make a difference, and turn things around, for the better, little by little. How different our world and everyday lives would be if we all share goodness, kindness, happiness and love? It is not that difficult, just by merely sharing something good no matter how small it is!
Isn’t it time to spark the goodness that we all have deep inside, and use it for the purpose for which we were really created for?
It is time to spark the goodness and go about spreading it to the world!
